Due to the impact of the storm, the central area of the East Sea will experience strong winds of force 8-11; in the area near the storm's center, winds will reach force 12-14, with gusts up to force 17; sea waves will be 5.0-7.0m high, and 8.0-10.0m high near the storm's center; the sea will be extremely rough.
From the morning of November 6th, the sea area from southern Quang Tri to Khanh Hoa (including Ly Son special zone and Cu Lao Cham island) will experience gradually increasing winds of force 6-7, then increasing to force 8-11, with waves 3.0-6.0m high; in the area near the storm's center, winds will be strong at force 12-14, gusting to force 17, with waves 7.0-9.0m high; the sea will be extremely rough.
The coastal area from Hue City to Dak Lak experienced storm surges of 0.4-0.8m.
Warning issued from the afternoon of November 6th: Coastal areas from Hue City to Dak Lak should be prepared for rising sea levels accompanied by large waves, causing flooding in low-lying areas, overflowing dikes and coastal roads, coastal erosion, and slowing flood drainage. All ships, boats, and aquaculture farms in the aforementioned dangerous areas will be severely affected by thunderstorms, tornadoes, strong winds, large waves, and rising sea levels.
On land, from the evening of November 6th, winds will gradually strengthen to level 6-7 from the south of Da Nang City to Dak Lak, then increase to level 8-9, reaching level 10-12 in areas near the storm's center (especially the eastern parts of Quang Ngai and Gia Lai provinces), with gusts up to level 14-15; in the area from southern Quang Tri to the north of Da Nang City and the north of Khanh Hoa province, winds will strengthen to level 6-7, with gusts up to level 8-9.
From the evening and night of November 6th, in the western provinces from Quang Ngai to Gia Lai, the wind will gradually strengthen to level 6-7, reaching level 8-9 in areas near the storm's center, with gusts up to level 11.
From November 6-7, the area from Da Nang City to Dak Lak experienced very heavy rainfall with a common amount of 200-400mm/period, and some areas exceeding 600mm/period; the area from southern Quang Tri to Hue City, Khanh Hoa and Lam Dong experienced heavy rainfall with a common amount of 150-300mm/period, and some areas experiencing very heavy rainfall exceeding 450mm/period. From November 8, the heavy rainfall in the aforementioned areas is expected to decrease.
From November 7-8, the area from northern Quang Tri to Thanh Hoa will experience moderate to heavy rain with rainfall amounts generally ranging from 50-150mm per period, and in some localized areas, very heavy rain exceeding 200mm per period.
