The People's Committee of Dak Lak province has just issued a plan to implement tasks and solutions for sustainable development of science, technology and innovation, promoting socio- economic development of the province in the period 2026-2030.

Accordingly, the province focuses on promoting and raising awareness of science, technology and innovation; perfecting mechanisms and policies to support technological innovation, developing intellectual property and startups. At the same time, strengthening public-private cooperation to implement directions and tasks of science, technology and innovation in conjunction with the implementation of key programs of the province and the country, ensuring resource concentration, avoiding dispersion, enhancing potential and cooperation in the above fields.

Lam Dong achieves more than 107,200 hectares of high-tech agriculture

In recent times, Lam Dong has continued to promote the application of science and technology in production, increasing productivity and value of key crops. Thanks to that, the area of high-tech agricultural production in the whole province has reached more than 107,200 hectares; the area of smart agriculture is 1,200 hectares. Lam Dong currently has 16 crop production areas recognized for applying high-tech agriculture; eight high-tech agricultural enterprises are recognized. The promotion of the management of growing area codes and packaging facilities has been focused on; the whole province currently has 934 export growing area codes, with a total area of more than 39,000 hectares and 341 packaging facilities, contributing to increasing the value of the province's agricultural products.

Synchronously implement support policies for ethnic minorities

In order to concretize the socio-economic development goals of ethnic minority areas, in recent times, Dak Pek commune, Quang Ngai province has focused on implementing many practical tasks and solutions. The locality aims for the goal: By 2030, there will be no more ethnic minority households lacking residential land or production land in the area.

Dak Pek commune has been promoting propaganda on policies and guidelines to support residential land, production land, loans, career conversion and livelihood development; praising and replicating good models and effective practices in the community. Lam Dong province has just issued a plan to implement a project to develop community tourism in the area in a sustainable manner, in line with the strategy for tourism development planning, tourism product development, national defense, security and social order.

Accordingly, the province focuses on promoting the value of natural advantages, natural resources, historical relics, scenic spots; effectively exploiting the potential and typical strengths of localities in the province, ensuring harmonious benefit sharing among participating parties, moving towards forming community tourism craft villages... In the period of 2025-2027, the province will preserve and promote traditional cultural values at recognized locations. Strive for 30% of locations to have effective community houses and traditional art troupes; 40% of facility owners to be trained in tourism management; 40% of locations that meet national standards on community tourism to be promoted and introduced, aiming to build a database and digital map of community tourism in the whole province.
