Attending the workshop were scientists and representatives of leaders of agencies, departments, institutes, training facilities... located in the provinces of the Central Highlands region.

In his welcome speech and introduction to the workshop, Dr. Nguyen Duy Thuy, Director of the Institute of Social Sciences for the Central and Central Highlands regions, said: Resources is a very broad concept, encompassing and synthesizing all factors that each individual, organization, locality, and country can use to achieve specific goals...
According to Mr. Thuy, in the current context, local development resources are not simply based on intrinsic values but are also influenced by exogenous factors, also known as exogenous resources such as science and technology, market, macro policies...

The rearrangement of administrative units and the completion of the current two-level government model, the merger of the (old) Central Highlands provinces with coastal localities is not simply an administrative issue, but also related to the restructuring of development space, resource coordination and ensuring sustainable local development.
This is a great undertaking with countless challenges, difficulties, and complexities, requiring the joint efforts, intelligence, and dedication of managers, scientists, experts, and the business community...

The workshop was organized into 2 sessions, with 2 topics, including: Identifying resources of the Central Highlands region in the context of current administrative unit arrangement; ways to promote and exploit development resources to create momentum for socio -economic development of the Central Highlands region associated with actual conditions.

Delegates attending the Workshop had access to 60 presentations and participated in lively discussions on contents such as: New potentials and opportunities for Lam Dong and provinces with provinces in the Central Highlands (formerly); promoting resources for developing industrial parks; religious resources for stabilizing security and order; resources for sustainable development...
