Many coconut trees at Man Thai beach, Tho Quang, Son Tra ward were uprooted and broken by the waves.

Some trees were washed out to sea by the waves, leaving their roots exposed.

People's fishing gear was swept out to sea by the waves.

Garbage was washed up by the waves into a large pile on the sidewalk of Man Thai beach.

The whole long road was covered with sand, making traffic very difficult.

Sand also flooded into coastal shops, this morning people took the opportunity to clean up.

According to local residents, the high tide rose at around 2am on November 7 and large waves broke the shore, carrying sand and rubbish onto the road.
