Ha Myo and Tuan Cry's fashion show with Xam music attracts attention

(Dan Tri) - With the background music of "Xam Ha Noi - Chieng lang chieng cha", singer Ha Myo performed a fashion show with Tuan Cry, author of the song "Bac Bling", attracting the attention of the audience.

On the evening of November 6, within the framework of the Hanoi Tourism Ao Dai Festival 2025, singer Ha Myo took on the vedette position (closing role) of designer Quyen Nguyen's Nguyet Lua phon hoa collection.

With her confident demeanor and youthful charm, Ha Myo became the center of attention on the catwalk, when her delicate ao dai blended with rustic, soulful xam music .

This combination helps the audience feel the harmonious beauty of Vietnamese women - gentle but full of courage - while bringing a traditional yet modern experience.

As an artist who is attached to folk music, Ha Myo shared with Dan Tri reporter about her journey of composing and performing. Born into a Muong family, growing up with folk melodies sung by her father, she always considered music as a natural part of life.

“Life in the countryside helps me feel everything sincerely and deeply. When choosing Xam and Xoan songs, I always prioritize lyrics that reflect the feelings of the working people, while keeping the “rustic soul” in the voice but still combining modern techniques to suit today’s pace of life,” said Ha Myo.

Besides music, Ha Myo maintains mental balance with simple habits: walking, learning about regional cultures, enjoying cuisine, following fashion trends and spending time with family.

She believes that inner peace is an important source of energy, helping to create and fully express emotions in all artistic activities. “With the Ao Dai in the Nguyet Lua Phon Hoa collection, I want to tell the story of Vietnamese women, soft as silk, clear as the moon and bright as flowers,” Ha Myo expressed.

For his first fashion show, Tuan Cry received positive response from the audience.

With the background music of Xam Ha Noi - Chieng lang chieng cha , the owner of the hit Bac Bling made an impression when taking the first face position. He walked gracefully on the catwalk, creating an exciting atmosphere for the show.

Right after finishing his performance, Tuan Cry shared: “I was shaking like the first time I stood on a music stage, but because of my respect for Ms. Quyen Nguyen and my love for Hanoi culture, I immediately accepted. This was truly a memorable experience.”

The collection includes 20 Ao Dai designs, handcrafted over many months. Inspired by moonlight, high-quality silk and the colors of flowers, designer Quyen Nguyen portrays the image of Vietnamese women - gentle but strong, fresh but still preserving traditional values.

On the catwalk, the models gracefully walked in soft, delicate ao dai, creating a harmonious and impressive overall look. The performance space became more lively when modern Xam music played, combined with each fold of fabric, light and color of the costumes, helping the audience fully feel the traditional and prosperous beauty of the collection.
