On the afternoon of November 7, the Central Council for Coordinating Legal Dissemination and Education held a ceremony to respond to Vietnam Law Day 2025.
Speaking at the ceremony, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man acknowledged the great efforts of the entire political system in law-making. The increasingly close and effective coordination between the Government and the National Assembly has produced encouraging results.

According to the National Assembly Chairman, since the beginning of the 15th National Assembly's term, 99 laws and 41 resolutions of a law-making nature have been passed.
In the 10th session alone, the National Assembly will pass 53 pieces of legislation, including 49 draft laws. This massive amount of work aims to "remove the current obstacles and bottlenecks in the country, for socio-economic development."
National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man requested that “it is necessary to make the legal system a competitive advantage, and to build laws that are considered a breakthrough of breakthroughs.” This is not just a slogan, but a strategic orientation, requiring new thinking in legislative work. The legal system is not only for social management but must become a solid, transparent foundation, creating development, attracting investment and enhancing national competitiveness.
Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung, Chairman of the Central Council for Coordinating Law Dissemination and Education, affirmed that the Ceremony to Respond to Vietnam Law Day 2025 is an important event to evaluate results, honor, commend and reward collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in law-making and enforcement and legal exemplary role models.
The event also orients and identifies tasks and solutions to respond to Vietnam Law Day in the coming time.
After 13 years of implementation, Vietnam Law Day has increasingly become an important political and legal event of the country, actively responded to by ministries, agencies, localities and people, proactively participating in many practical and effective activities.

The Deputy Prime Minister requested leaders of departments, ministries, branches and localities to study tasks and solutions to respond to Vietnam Law Day in the coming time, ensuring it is more practical and effective. In particular, focusing on innovating content and creating forms, contributing to improving the effectiveness of legal dissemination and education.
At the ceremony, the Ministry of Justice launched the official version of the National Law Portal at phapluat.gov.vn - a shared digital platform built and operated by the Ministry of Justice.
The ceremony to respond to Vietnam Law Day 2025 was connected online to 34 provinces and cities with the participation of local leaders; Party committees, authorities, socio-political organizations at commune level...
The Law on Dissemination of Legal Education stipulates that Vietnam Law Day is November 9 every year, organized to honor the Constitution, the law and raise awareness of the rule of law in society. November 9 was chosen because this was the day the first Constitution of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam was promulgated in 1946.
