Ms. Bui Thi Minh Hoai is the first female Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

(Dan Tri) - The Presidium Conference has just unanimously elected Ms. Bui Thi Minh Hoai to hold the position of Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front. Ms. Hoai is the first female Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

On November 7, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front held the 5th Conference of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, 10th tenure.

The conference agreed with the submission of the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front on the consultation of personnel to participate in the Committee, the Presidium, the Standing Committee and the election to hold the position of Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term X, 2024-2029.

The conference agreed to introduce Ms. Bui Thi Minh Hoai, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front, and Central organizations for the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to consult and participate in the Central Committee, the Presidium, the Standing Committee and to elect her to hold the position of Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, 10th term, 2024-2029.

Previously, in early November, the Politburo decided to let Ms. Bui Thi Minh Hoai stop participating in the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee, and stop holding the position of Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee.

The Politburo also mobilized and appointed Ms. Bui Thi Minh Hoai to join the 13th Party Central Committee Secretariat, to join the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee and to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front and Central organizations.

Ms. Bui Thi Minh Hoai was born in 1965, from Ha Nam (now Ninh Binh province).

She is a member of the Politburo, Secretary of the 13th Party Central Committee; a member of the 10th (alternate), 11th, 12th, 13th Party Central Committee and has a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Law.

From an inspector, after working in Ha Nam province, Ms. Hoai became Deputy Head of the Inspection Committee of Ha Nam Provincial Party Committee in 2000. After nearly 4 years in this position, she became Vice Chairman of Ha Nam Provincial People's Council in mid-2004.

After that, she successively held the following positions: Head of the Mass Mobilization Committee of Ha Nam Provincial Party Committee; Secretary of Phu Ly City Party Committee (Ha Nam province); Permanent Vice President of the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union.

In early 2011, Ms. Hoai held the position of Deputy Head, then Permanent Deputy Head of the Central Inspection Commission.

In May 2024, she was elected to the Politburo and 3 months later was transferred and appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee.
