"Miniature Da Lat" in the heart of Chi Linh

In the middle of the sacred land of Con Son - Kiep Bac, a place that bears the historical and cultural imprint of the Eastern region, there is a clear space that makes anyone who sets foot there want to stop for a long time - Bai Re, a place in Chi Linh ward, Hai Phong city.

Not noisy, not crowded, Bai Re brings a feeling of peace, lightness like stepping into a vast memory. From afar, the whole low hill is covered with green roots, interspersed with rows of ancient pine trees rustling in the wind, all creating a strangely poetic and harmonious scene.

Breath of nature and old stories

Local people still tell each other that, in the past, when Mr. Tran Nguyen Dan went into seclusion in the Con Son area, he planted pine trees on the mountain, while his wife planted rows of "root trees" at the foot of the mountain to make a living. Over the years, the pine forest and the root fields gradually grew, becoming a beautiful natural picture - a place where people and the earth and sky peacefully harmonize.

Today, Bai Re still retains almost intact that rustic look. In the early morning, dew still lingers on each root leaf, the whole hill seems to be immersed in a thin layer of smoke.

When the sun rises, the golden light passes through the pine trees, reflecting on the green of the grass and trees, making the space shimmer and magical. Many tourists compare this place to a "miniature Da Lat" in the North, where you can leisurely stroll and let your soul relax after busy days of work.

Coming to Bai Re, visitors can stroll among the pine rows, admire the rows of roots stretching like silk carpets, and inhale the fresh scent of the earth and sky. With just a camera or phone, you can capture dozens of poetic frames - when the sunlight slant through the foliage, or when the gentle wind rustles the hillside.

Intimate, peaceful and memorable

The best time to visit Bai Re is from late summer to early autumn, when the sun is just mild enough and the trees are at their greenest. Early morning or late afternoon is when Bai Re's scenery is at its most beautiful, with soft light and fresh air, perfect for resting, taking photos, and relaxing.

From the center of Hanoi , it only takes you more than an hour to travel to Bai Re. After visiting, visitors can combine visiting famous nearby places such as Con Son pine forest, Tien stream or Kiep Bac temple - to make the journey more complete.

Although not sophisticated in service, Bai Re still attracts people by its rusticity, purity and rare peace. In the midst of the hustle and bustle of life, this place is like a gentle silence for everyone to find a sense of serenity, to see that nature is always beautiful in its own way, very Vietnamese. Both poetic, passionate and soothing, sweet!
