When we think of heroes in history, we often think of their glorious achievements. However, there are those who choose to contribute to history in a quiet, yet intelligent and courageous way. Mr. Ba Quoc is one such person.
As an outstanding intelligence officer, he contributed to crucial historical turning points and was awarded the title of Hero by the State in 1978. However, what made him special was not the title itself, but his perseverance, intelligence, and extraordinary courage throughout his silent dedication. During his career, he held many positions, starting as an intelligence officer during the war, then becoming an intelligence officer, and finally leading defense intelligence after the war.
Born in Hanoi , Ba Quoc was destined to enter the intelligence service. With his patriotism and resourceful mind, he achieved feats many could hardly imagine. During the war against the US, he was one of the few who successfully infiltrated seemingly impenetrable fortresses – the Presidential Palace and the Central Intelligence Agency of the enemy. The secret documents he collected were not merely intelligence information, but "invisible weapons" that changed the course of the war.
The book "The Mysterious Intelligence General and His Extraordinary Missions" reveals missions that seem like they only exist in movies, but were actually carried out in real life by a simple and humble man.
