For that reason, the rapprochement of these two forces is extremely important in the current context. This is also the basis for the Thanh Hoa Provincial Police to recently organize a conference to meet with press reporters and influential people on social networks (KOL), in order to convey a very new message about the humane and courageous approach to communication of the Thanh Hoa Police force.

New approaches in the era of multidimensional communication

On the morning of November 6, 2025, at the meeting with press reporters and typical KOLs organized by Thanh Hoa Provincial Police, the image of Major General To Anh Dung, Director of the Provincial Police, standing in front of dozens of journalists and media workers, frankly sharing about the work of ensuring security and order, about the sacrifices of officers and soldiers, and about the role of the press in spreading the image of police soldiers, left a deep impression.

If in the past, propaganda work in the police force was mainly "one-way", now Thanh Hoa is pioneering a new direction of "transparency - initiative - dialogue", with a proactive mindset of meeting, listening, and absorbing opinions from the press and those who have influence on cyberspace.

Speaking at the conference, Major General To Anh Dung expressed: “In the past 5 years (2020-2025), we had 2 comrades sacrificed, 20 comrades injured while on duty. These numbers are vivid proof of the spirit of sacrifice of the police force on the security front, for the peaceful life of the people. During storms and floods, the police force is always at the forefront. These are images that need to be spread and actively promoted.”

This is not simply providing information, but also a word of gratitude from the head of Thanh Hoa Police to his comrades. It is a sincere sharing, making the listeners feel the heart of the commander for his comrades and the People.

That statement is also a commitment to society: Thanh Hoa Police will never be far from the people, but will always be on the front line, in storms and floods as well as in the battle against crime.

Thanh Hoa is a large province with a large area, 2 villages still do not have electricity grid, 12 areas do not have phone signal, as shared by the Director of the Provincial Police. In such conditions, propaganda, legal education , and crime prevention work, if only relying on traditional information channels, will not have enough coverage. The new approach of Thanh Hoa Police is to combine mainstream press and oriented social media communication.

However, after each major case, the Provincial Police proactively held press conferences, publicized information, ensuring transparency and responsibility to society. That is the way of a collective that respects the public's right to know, while ensuring the secrecy of the investigation, serving justice and social security.
