To implement that orientation, the province focuses on planning and arranging the school network associated with urban development and new rural construction; prioritizing investment in facilities for ethnic boarding schools, ensuring learning and living conditions for students.
By 2030, the province strives to have 8% of ethnic minority students studying at ethnic boarding schools, while at the same time completing the facilities of these schools in a modern and synchronous manner.
Along with that, Thai Nguyen continues to pay attention to policies to attract, reward and encourage excellent teachers to work in remote areas; focus on training and improving the professional qualifications of teachers working in ethnic minority education areas.

According to the medium-term public investment budget estimate for the 2025-2030 period, the province ensures that the proportion of state budget expenditure for education and training reaches at least 20% of total budget expenditure, in accordance with the spirit of Resolution No. 29-NQ/TW of the Central Government.
This is an important foundation for Thai Nguyen to continue improving the quality of education in ethnic minority areas, contributing to human resource development and narrowing the educational gap between regions.
