Therefore, on the morning of November 7, when the floodwaters from upstream increased, some people in Ju village (Ia Tul commune) were stuck in the middle of the water before they could evacuate. Some people went to high places in the hope that the floodwaters would stop, while others climbed to the top of large trees to wait for rescue.
Knowing the above information, the Defense Command of Area 5 - Ayun Pa coordinated with the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department (Provincial Police) to use canoes to go to the places where people were trapped to rescue them.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huu Que was present at the scene to directly participate in directing the rescue. By noon of the same day, all 9 people trapped in Ia Tul commune were brought safely to shore.
