This digital learning tool is contributing to changing teaching and learning methods, helping students become more proactive, while creating opportunities for teachers to play a central role in digital transformation of education .

Innovation in teaching and learning methods

Ms. Hong Minh - Vice Principal of Huu Nghi Primary School ( Hoa Binh Ward, Phu Tho) - believes that teachers are not only the first to experience but also an important "bridge", helping to bring technology closer to students and parents.

According to Ms. Minh, each new platform needs to be directly tested by teachers, clearly understanding how to use it to choose, guide and orient students appropriately. For example, when assigning exercises on Khan Academy, teachers will also do it themselves first to evaluate the level of suitability, from which to adjust the lesson plan.

Through this, teachers can take advantage of the platform's features to support teaching and student assessment more effectively. This is also a useful reference for teachers to 'improve' the content of their lectures, providing more specific, closer and easier-to-understand solutions," Ms. Minh added.

Providing a detailed activity overview not only helps teachers easily monitor the learning progress of each class and each student, but also helps the Board of Directors grasp information about study time and the level of knowledge mastery of each student through exercises, thereby making timely adjustments and support.

Teachers not only accompany students, but are also the factor connecting schools and parents in the digital transformation journey. “Teachers not only guide students, but also accompany parents, helping them understand and support their children’s new learning methods,” said Ms. Minh. Teachers at Huu Nghi Primary School regularly exchange and quickly answer any questions parents have when their children study on online applications.

Digital transformation is not just a story about technology

According to Ms. Minh, digital transformation is not only a story about technology, but also a process of building a connection between school - students - family, so that parents can support their children's learning in a positive and effective way.

To achieve maximum effectiveness, Huu Nghi Primary School has developed a strict digital transformation plan, divided into specific stages. Each class is closely monitored, from the number of students participating to progress and learning ability. “We review each class, monitor carefully and give feedback so that homeroom teachers can provide timely support,” Ms. Minh shared.

Despite being innovative and open to technology, the school’s teaching staff remains cautious in choosing platforms to ensure the quality of education. “We want to experiment with a lot of technology, but we have to consider carefully to prioritize tools that truly meet the learning needs of students,” said Ms. Minh.

Teachers are now also exploring and experimenting with artificial intelligence (AI) tools to enrich the learning experience for students. “We have tried creating animated characters that read out exercises or quizzes to students, but we need more time to research and ensure safety and effectiveness,” she said.

Thanks to the dedication and sense of responsibility of the teaching staff, the digital transformation process at Huu Nghi Primary School in particular and Hoa Binh province in general has initially brought clear results.

According to Ms. Minh, digital transformation is no longer a distant concept, but has become a practical solution, helping students proactively access knowledge, parents feel secure in accompanying, and contributing to creating a solid foundation for future educational development.
