Training is time-consuming and costly, turning human resources into a bottleneck that hinders growth.
The launch of the College of Economics and Technology (Cen EcoTech) poses a practical solution: Providing a team that is well-trained, rich in practical experience, and ready to work immediately.
Human resource bottleneck hinders growth of real estate businesses
According to the General Statistics Office, the rate of trained workers with degrees and certificates in the second quarter of 2025 was 29.1%. In the first 6 months of 2025, the rate of trained workers with degrees and certificates was 29.0%. In the service industry, especially real estate, the skills gap is even more evident.
In Ho Chi Minh City, in the first 6 months of 2024, more than 11,000 jobs were created for the real estate sector, accounting for nearly 7% of total recruitment demand, among the highest in the market.
Entering the first half of 2025, signs of recovery put greater pressure on human resources: The number of real estate businesses returning to the market increased by 76% over the same period, while newly established businesses increased by 15%, an average of about 430 new businesses per month.
The scale is expanding, new projects are continuously starting, but the human resource "pipeline" has not been filled yet.
A survey by the Vietnam Real Estate Market Research Institute showed that up to 416 brokerage firms reported a lack of qualified personnel, affecting transaction activities and slowing down the recovery process.
In fact, when the human resource supply cannot keep up, many businesses are forced to organize short-term training courses to fill the skills "gap".
This method is effective immediately but lacks professional, legal foundation and systematic thinking, leading to increased trial costs, lower recruitment criteria and the risk of early resignation.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Khanh, Vice President and General Secretary of the Vietnam Real Estate Training Association (VNREEA), once emphasized that short-term training cannot replace a systematic program if one wants to have a team with solid skills and perseverance in operation.
Cen EcoTech - Solving the human resource problem of the real estate market
The recovery of the real estate market is creating a wave of new projects, but also revealing a reality: High-quality human resources are seriously scarce.
Businesses face difficulties when their sales team is not professional enough, conversion rates are low, operating costs are high, while training time is long.
Understanding that “pain”, Cen Group – a leading enterprise in the real estate market – has launched the College of Economics and Technology (Cen EcoTech).
Different from the traditional training model, Cen EcoTech applies a dual training program with 70% practice - 30% theory, helping students "touch the profession" sooner.
The outstanding difference is that students can do paid internships right from the first semester at Cen Group member companies as well as a large partner ecosystem. This is a valuable opportunity to accumulate practical experience, develop professional skills and financial independence - practical values that few colleges can provide.

Not stopping there, studying at Cen EcoTech, students will be employed immediately after graduation through the business network in the Cen Group ecosystem with hundreds of partners in the fields of real estate, hotels and technology.
Students not only have degrees, but also practical jobs, clear career paths and market-ready capabilities.
Cen EcoTech offers bachelor's programs in Real Estate Business Administration, Hotel Management and Information Technology (Software Applications), Nursing.
These are fast-growing industries, where there are large job opportunities, high incomes and the ability to develop sustainably.
The subjects of study are not only post-secondary students but also extended to working people, people who want to study for a second degree or want to change career direction to a potential field.
The birth of Cen EcoTech shows Cen Group's strategic move in closely connecting vocational education and practical market needs.
In the context of human resource transformation and the trend of "learning by doing" on the rise, this model promises not only to bring benefits to learners and businesses but also to contribute to establishing a new training standard - practical, flexible and effective.
