Rapper Tieu Minh Phung said he was happy to be part of the program Vietnamese Family Home . Memories of her father, her mother's sacrifice and the simple dreams of an orphan girl in Ca Mau

The first case this week is Nguyen Tien Huyen Anh (2009), an 11th grade student at Ninh Quoi High School, Ninh Quoi Commune, Ca Mau Province. Huyen Anh's father passed away 9 years ago. Currently, Huyen Anh lives with her mother and brother.

Since her husband passed away, Ms. Tien Thi Ha (1975) - Huynh Anh's mother - has become the family's breadwinner, raising two children to study alone. She does all kinds of jobs to make a living, accepting any job. Currently, she mainly scrapes cashew nuts for hire, earning about 3-4 kg per day, 10,000 VND/kg, sometimes even less. Before, she also took care of children, but now no one hires her, so she just stays at home scraping cashew nuts, and sometimes when someone calls her to go weeding rice, she also does extra work. There are nights when she works late into the night until she falls asleep, then wakes up and continues working hard. Currently, she suffers from many diseases such as cardiovascular disease, gastritis, and phlebitis.

Nguyen Tien Huyen Anh was emotional when talking about her deceased father and her mother's silent sacrifice.

Huyen Anh's brother is Nguyen Tien Phu (2006), a second-year student majoring in veterinary medicine at the Bac Lieu Veterinary College (old). Phu lives near the school for 350,000 VND/month. Every day, he walks to school or gets a ride from a friend. The distance from home to school is about 2km and he has been walking regularly for the past year. On weekends, he takes the bus home to visit.

The mother's tears fell when she saw her son studying far away, lacking but not a word of complaint.

Every time Phu comes home, Ha usually cooks food for him to take with him, sometimes braised meat, sometimes fish sauce. Phu only eats a little, and asks for more charity rice to save money. He does not dare ask his mother for money, only accepting it when she gives him because he understands his family's situation. Phu sets a goal of studying well to win a scholarship and find a part-time job to help his mother. He is well aware of the importance of studying, but currently lacks means of transportation, making it difficult to find a job. Every time he comes home, Phu rows a boat to catch fish to sell to earn extra money to help his mother.

The house the family lives in was built 19 years ago and is now in disrepair, with many termite-eaten pillars. The house stores rainwater in jars to save on living expenses. Huyen Anh herself is an emotional girl, and loves her mother very much because she understands her mother's sacrifices and hardships. Many times she feels sad because she does not have a complete family and lacks the love of her father. Although she does not remember much about her father, she still clearly feels the loss when he is no longer around.

Huynh Lap saw Huyen Anh's strength and resilience when he saw that she was so understanding. Facing loss, she still did not give up, but instead was a source of encouragement to her mother, making the male MC admire her. Huynh Lap hugged Huyen Anh, wanting to share his faith and give her more motivation.

Faced with Huyen Anh's concern about not being able to afford to study, MC Huynh Lap decided to support her with all the costs of school supplies until she graduates from high school. He said: "Studying is one of the things that helps me change positively in the future. We all have to study, study to gain more knowledge, to have more foundation to improve the difficulties in life . "

For Meritorious Artist Oc Thanh Van, she sympathized with Huyen Anh because of her determination to succeed. The female guest was moved when she saw Huyen Anh and her brother accept to drop out of school to give their place to the other. She gave many words of encouragement to Huyen Anh and her brother not to think about dropping out of school, but to try to study hard to change their lives.

Along with the emotion when witnessing the difficult situation of the character, rapper Tieu Minh Phung was touched by the family affection and sacrifice of Huyen Anh's family members for each other. He said that despite the difficulties and lack of both material and spiritual things, the two Huyen Anh brothers still love each other and always strive to study and improve, which is very admirable.

The boy's nights of catching frogs to earn money to help his grandmother soon left him without parental love.

Nguyen Trong Khang (2011), currently studying in grade 8, Dong Thai Secondary and High School, Dong Thai Commune, An Giang Province. Khang's parents divorced a long time ago. 5 years ago, his father died in a traffic accident. His mother is living elsewhere, rarely in contact, occasionally sending him 1-2 million VND to help raise him. Currently, Khang lives with his grandmother - Mrs. Lieu Thi Nhien and his older brother Nguyen Nhat Kha (2009), studying in grade 11.

Trong Khang - a 14 year old boy who became independent early, studied well and helped his grandmother earn a living.

Mrs. Nhien is old and has had many illnesses such as spinal degeneration, bronchitis, and thyroid goiter for more than 10 years, but she has no means to treat them, only taking medicine to control them. To raise her two grandchildren, she works seasonally, earning less than 100,000 VND/day, and also raises chickens and ducks to supplement her meals.

Khang and his brother also took turns doing housework, and in the evening they went out to catch frogs and toads until late at night to help their grandmother make ends meet. Deep down, Khang still remembered the days when the family was still well-off, when his father often took the whole family out, and what he regretted the most was that there was never a photo of the whole family together. Mrs. Nhien burst into tears when she talked about her health concerns, she was afraid that one day she would die, and the two children, already orphans, would be even more helpless without anyone to rely on.

Huynh Lap was heartbroken by the material and spiritual deprivation of the two brothers Trong Khang. He said that the lack of motherly love from a young age, and the pain of losing their father, was a great disadvantage for the brothers. However, the male MC also expressed his admiration for the image of the two brothers Khang being independent early, knowing how to go frog hunting, catch frogs to sell to earn money to help their grandmother. He gave many words of encouragement and motivation for the brothers to always try their best.

Looking at Khang, I don’t think he’s 14 years old, because my son is also 14 years old but looks older. A child raised in relatively comfortable conditions, doesn’t have to worry about anything but study and play. Children who don’t have to think about deprivation will have a very different life. But Khang and his brother have suffered a lot since childhood. I’m really heartbroken to see him, who has been deprived since childhood, then lose his father, lose the biggest support in his life,” Oc Thanh Van choked.

Tieu Minh Phung burst into tears because he saw his own situation in the character. He said: “I saw myself in Trong Khang. My parents also divorced early, but I was luckier because I still had my father's protection. At that time, my family was very poor, also living in a small hut. At that time, there was no study lamp, I remember when I studied, I only had one candle. My family was so poor that we didn't have money to buy candles regularly, I could only wait for the wax to melt, then scrape off the wax underneath, put it on and continue using it .

The male rapper added that there are dreams like having a full meal with family but they will never be able to come true. He recalled the difficult times, eating white rice with sugar with his younger brother, sometimes adding a little water, but what he wanted at that time was not delicious rice, but a complete family meal. For the male artist, no matter how difficult life is, one must not despair, he gave words of encouragement and motivation to the children to always try to change their lives.
