Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son inspects preparations for the 2025 Autumn Fair at the Vietnam Exhibition Center.
Accompanying the Deputy Prime Minister were Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ho An Phong, and Deputy Head of the Government Office Mai Thi Thu Van.
According to Deputy Minister Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan, up to now, the Ministry of Industry and Trade - the organizer of the Fair, has received budget estimates from a number of ministries, central agencies and 33 provinces and cities. The Ministry will compile and send them to the Ministry of Finance in a rolling manner and continue to urge the remaining ministries, branches and localities to send budget estimates.
Regarding the participants, up to now, 33/34 localities, 13 corporations and state-owned general companies have registered and received the premises; the construction of the booths will be carried out 7 days in advance.
Deputy Minister Ho An Phong reported on the exhibition space of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, preparations for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the Fair. Representative of Vingroup Corporation reported on the overall design, identity and logo of the Fair; proposed the Ministry of Industry and Trade to invite businesses in innovation, science and technology to participate in the Fair.
After listening to reports from ministries and Vingroup, the Deputy Prime Minister highly appreciated the efforts of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Vingroup and relevant agencies in actively implementing work contents related to the Fair, meeting requirements and on schedule.

The Deputy Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and Vingroup Corporation to continue to carefully review the Fair's identity and logo before officially announcing it; and support Thai Nguyen province to participate in the Fair as Thai Nguyen province is focusing on overcoming the consequences of historic floods.
Localities must complete all standard booth design work before October 13 and report to the Standing Committee of the 2025 Autumn Fair Organizing Steering Committee. For special booths, the design must be completed before October 17.
For Hanoi, the Deputy Prime Minister requested to report to the Standing Committee of the 2025 Autumn Fair on the progress of the design and construction for the city area, including booths, locations, and layout; assign focal points to coordinate traffic, food safety, security, and health to ensure absolute safety throughout the Fair.
The Deputy Prime Minister requested that when designing, it is necessary to ensure distance between booths, have resting space, and have enough restrooms for visitors.
The Deputy Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Industry and Trade to coordinate with the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Association of High-Tech Enterprises, Innovation and Digital Transformation to invite typical enterprises in this field to participate in the Fair.
Enterprises participating in the Fair need to meet the criteria of typical enterprises, high-quality products, and commercialization potential, the Deputy Prime Minister requested.
All localities and businesses participating in the Fair must thoroughly understand the requirement that the Fair is not only a place to introduce products but also to interact with consumers, such as through introducing the process of producing civet coffee or traditional coffee brewing methods so that foreigners can better understand Vietnam's specialties, or can create experiences for visitors by recreating the image of the Dien Bien Phu Campaign or the atmosphere of the 1945 Declaration of Independence. These interactive activities will make the Fair more lively and attractive.
Regarding information and communication work about the Fair, the Deputy Prime Minister requested a press conference to introduce the Fair on October 12 or 13. Ministries, branches, localities and enterprises should proactively provide information to the press about their booths./.
