Quang Ninh province is preparing for many major cultural and sports activities in the fourth quarter, aiming to welcome 20 million visitors, including 4.5 million international visitors, in 2025.

It is expected that in the fourth quarter of 2025, Quang Ninh will be a vibrant destination with a series of large-scale cultural, sports and tourism events. Notable events include the International Puppetry and Circus Festival; the Ha Long Bay Heritage International Marathon; the Yen Tu Heritage Marathon 2025; the Quang Ninh Cuisine Festival and the OCOP Fair in the Northeast region - Quang Ninh 2025... In addition, the first National Travel Forum, scheduled to be held in Quang Ninh in mid-November, will create opportunities for connection and cooperation for hundreds of large domestic and foreign travel agencies.

Many large-scale cultural and tourism activities will be held at the end of the year in Quang Ninh.

Mr. Nguyen The Hue - Chairman of Quang Ninh Tourism Association said: "We are working very closely with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to prepare for the implementation. This travel forum will attract hundreds of the largest travel businesses in the country and hundreds of large foreign travel businesses to exchange with each other. Quang Ninh, the host, will be introduced, promote tourism and bring visitors to experience Quang Ninh and I think this is an extremely favorable condition for the Quang Ninh tourism industry in the future."

Since the beginning of the year, Quang Ninh province has organized over 100 large-scale, vibrant cultural, sports and tourism events, such as Ha Long Carnival, Skywave music festival, Miss Vietnam Global Sea contest, Ha Long Bay marathon, International Yoga Day... These activities have created strong attraction, contributing to affirming Quang Ninh's position as the leading festival destination in the North.

According to Mr. Nguyen Lam Nguyen - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Ninh, large-scale events organized from now until the end of the year will create conditions for the locality to complete the yearly plan with the goal of welcoming over 20 million visitors, including 4.5 million international visitors, with total tourism revenue reaching 55,000 billion VND.

"Events are the highlight to attract tourists to Quang Ninh in the coming time. In particular, the Quang Ninh Tourism Association is ready to launch stimulus packages, giving tourists additional special products to experience tourism in Quang Ninh. The province also upgraded the lighting system so that tourists can feel a truly different and vibrant appearance when coming to Quang Ninh," said Mr. Nguyen Lam Nguyen.
