QNgTV- One of the criteria to determine whether a unit is qualified to organize a foreign language proficiency test or not is to have a minimum test bank of 70 questions.

The Ministry of Education and Training has announced a draft circular regulating the organization of foreign language proficiency tests and Vietnamese proficiency tests to solicit comments from a wide range of agencies, organizations and individuals.
According to the draft, one of the criteria for determining whether a unit is qualified to organize a foreign language proficiency test is to have a minimum bank of 70 questions, which are supplemented and updated annually.
According to the draft, the process of building a standardized test question bank consists of 9 steps. Initially, a group of experts and a group of officers will be established to coordinate the building of a standardized test question bank, then the test matrix will be built, the raw questions will be prepared, testing will be done, etc., and finally, questions will be selected to be entered into the test question bank.
The test question bank ensures that there are enough questions to create at least 70 test papers for organizing foreign language proficiency assessment tests.
The exam questions for each exam are randomly drawn from the question bank; in the same exam, each candidate in the exam room has a separate exam code; candidates sit next to each other in horizontal rows, with no overlap in content and exam questions. Used exam questions can only be reused after a minimum of 12 months.
Before December 31st of each year, the exam organizing unit must add exam questions to the question bank, ensuring that the following year there will be at least 70 questions.
