Tay Mo Ward installs field pumps to drain water and reduce flooding

HNP - On October 9, Tu Liem Irrigation One Member Co., Ltd. coordinated with Tay Mo Ward People's Committee to urgently install 02 more field pumps, increasing the total number of pumps in the area to 05, with a total capacity of 1,400m³/hour, to enhance drainage capacity and reduce flooding in low-lying areas in the ward.

Tu Liem Irrigation Company Limited said that from October 7 to October 8, the unit completed the installation and put into operation 04 pumps, the remaining 01 pump was completed and put into operation in the afternoon of October 8. The addition of field pumps helps speed up the drainage speed, contributing to the early stabilization of the situation, ensuring the safety of people's lives and activities in the area.

Tay Mo Ward People's Committee assigned relevant departments, offices, units and residential groups to closely monitor weather developments; regularly check and maintain equipment, ensure safe system operation, and be ready to respond when heavy rain occurs; at the same time, strengthen propaganda so that people can grasp information, coordinate with the authorities in drainage work and ensure safety around the pumping station area.
