Dak Lak 2-9 Import Export Company Limited is developing an “ Agricultural Management Digital Map” for 50,000 coffee farming households in Dak Lak. |
Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung, Deputy General Director of Dak Lak 2-9 Import-Export Company Limited, shared that the unit is developing an "Agricultural Management Digital Map" for 50,000 coffee farming households in Dak Lak. This map contains full data on crops, area, garden information, intercrops, and main crops. From there, it helps the company orient itself in connecting and supporting farmers in terms of inputs and accessing bank credit. Transparent data from the digital map can help banks build their own products for farmers. This map also allows the company to prove to importing countries (such as the EU) that coffee is grown without causing deforestation and can be traced to each garden. In the future, it will be used to demonstrate carbon reduction as required by developed countries.
For the digital transformation to take place effectively, building a solid digital infrastructure is a key factor. Dak Lak has prioritized investment to complete the broadband network system, covering 4G, 5G to remote areas, ethnic minority areas. Accompanying the province, telecommunications and technology enterprises are continuing to upgrade infrastructure, ensuring network and information security to serve well the management and information exchange of the government, people, and businesses; improving quality, diversifying services, and meeting the socio-economic development needs of the province.
