World Congress of the International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations 2025

(HTV) - The World Congress of the International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations (FIATA World Congress 2025) has just opened in Hanoi with the theme "Green Logistics, Fast Adaptation", gathering more than 1,200 delegates from 150 countries and territories.

Delegates assessed that the logistics industry is facing many fluctuations such as trade shifts, geopolitical tensions, green transformation pressure and technology boom. The forum focused on discussing solutions such as flexible supply chains, digital transformation, and the development of water and rail transport to reduce emissions and optimize costs.

Mr. Turgut Erkeskin - President of FIATA, emphasized that this is an opportunity for countries to shape a new development model - greener, more digital and more sustainable , while recognizing the growing role of Vietnam in the global supply chain.

Currently, Vietnam has more than 45,000 logistics enterprises , of which about 5,000 are international freight forwarding enterprises , contributing significantly to national growth and competitiveness.
