Training on foreign affairs and propaganda on sea and island borders

On the morning of October 9, at the Provincial People's Committee hall (facility 2, Tuy Hoa ward), the Provincial People's Committee coordinated with the National Border Committee (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) to organize a conference to train on foreign affairs and propaganda on border and island management.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Truong Cong Thai and 70 delegates representing leaders of departments, branches, the Provincial Border Guard Command, communes, wards, and border posts in the eastern region of the province attended.

At the conference, the National Border Committee's reporters presented topics on the East Sea situation; the Party and State's policies on the East Sea issue; the history of the formation of land borders with neighboring countries; and current issues of border protection and management.

The delegates were also trained and guided in practical foreign affairs protocol work by the Center for Training and Fostering Diplomacy and Foreign Languages ​​(Department of Foreign Affairs of Ho Chi Minh City).

Speaking at the training conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Truong Cong Thai affirmed: "Dak Lak province now has a new geostrategic position, with many favorable conditions to promote marine economic development, expand foreign relations, and strengthen national defense and security. Along with its potential and strengths, the province has a greater responsibility in managing and protecting borders, seas and islands and must step up propaganda to create social consensus and maintain national territorial sovereignty ."

According to comrade Truong Cong Thai, we are currently facing a period where cadres not only "grasp the policy" but also "control the situation". Therefore, this training conference will continue to raise awareness, equip knowledge, skills and practical experience in foreign affairs protocol work, border and island situation and management for cadres, civil servants and public employees in the province after the two-level government comes into operation. Thereby, helping the team doing foreign affairs promptly grasp the policies of the Party and State; proactively develop plans, advise and deploy tasks effectively and in accordance with regulations.
