Program to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Farmers' Union

On the afternoon of October 9, the Provincial Farmers' Association organized a meeting and discussion program to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Farmers' Association (October 14, 1930 - October 14, 2025).

Attending the program were comrades Y Giang Gry Nie Knong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Nguyen Thien Van, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of leaders of relevant departments and branches and former leaders of the Provincial Farmers' Association through the periods.

At the program, delegates reviewed the glorious historical tradition of the Vietnam Farmers' Association over 95 years of establishment and development. In Dak Lak, the farmers' movement has also contributed significantly to promoting the development of the province's revolution.

The Provincial Farmers' Association, together with the peasant class, has always affirmed its core role in the cause of agricultural and rural development and contributed to building an increasingly prosperous and civilized homeland. The Association has constantly innovated, maintaining its role as a core force in propaganda and mobilizing members to promote their role as the main subject in building new rural areas, developing household economy , reducing poverty sustainably and building a civilized urban life.

After the merger, the Provincial Farmers' Association has nearly 320,000 members participating in activities in nearly 2,800 branches and more than 4,000 groups, forming a widespread, unique, united and increasingly modern Association organization system, deeply attached to the thoughts and aspirations of farmers.

Within the framework of the program, leaders of the Farmers' Association through the periods exchanged and shared memories and experiences during their participation in the Association's work. At the same time, they presented and consulted the Provincial Farmers' Association on a number of contents in the context of the organization entering a period of comprehensive innovation.

Speaking at the program, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province Y Giang Gry Nie Knong praised the achievements that the cadres and farmers' union members of the province have strived to achieve in the past time.

At the same time, it is recommended that Farmers' Associations at all levels continue to innovate the content and methods of operation, closely follow the grassroots, promptly grasp and propose solutions to farmers' legitimate aspirations; focus on training and fostering a team of dedicated, qualified and capable cadres, especially in remote areas; improve the effectiveness of agricultural mobilization, arouse the spirit of self-reliance, creativity, solidarity, and build a new generation of civilized and modern farmers; promote the role in emulation movements, especially the movement "Farmers compete in good production and business", promote production linkages, build value chains, digital transformation and creative startups; focus on leading and directing the successful organization of the Congresses of Farmers' Associations at all levels, term 2025-2030.

On this occasion, authorized by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union, the Provincial Farmers' Union awarded the "For the Vietnamese Farmer Class" Medal to 11 outstanding individuals.
