The Ministry of Education and Training requested clarification of the incident that occurred at Vo Nguyen Giap High School.

The dispatch stated that the Ministry of Education and Training received a report through the press that on the morning of October 3, 2025, a math teacher at Vo Nguyen Giap High School (Ea O commune) assaulted another teacher right in the school yard.

This behavior seriously violates the regulations on teachers' ethics and negatively affects the pedagogical environment.

The Ministry of Education and Training requests the Department of Education and Training of Dak Lak province to urgently inspect, verify and report the above incident to the Ministry of Education and Training (through the Department of Teachers and Educational Managers) before October 14, 2025. In which, clarify the developments of the incident, the responsibilities of the relevant collectives and individuals and the handling measures that have been taken.

As reported by Dak Lak Newspaper, Vo Nguyen Giap High School (Ea O Commune) has sent a report to the Department of Education and Training and the Ea O Commune Police about the incident of disturbing public order and intentionally causing injury that occurred on the school grounds. Accordingly, Mr. Nguyen Truc Sinh - Secretary of the School Youth Union, teacher of National Defense and Security Education reminded teacher Dang Tang (teaching Math) of the same school about parking his car in the wrong place, but was assaulted by this teacher in front of some students; the security force had to intervene promptly to prevent the incident from continuing.

After receiving the report from the school, the Department of Education and Training also sent Document No. 967/SGDĐT-TCCB dated October 7, 2025 to Vo Nguyen Giap High School regarding the handling of the incident that occurred on school grounds.

Accordingly, pursuant to the provisions of Clause 2, Article 31, Decree 112/2020/ND-CP amended and supplemented in Clause 15, Article 1, Decree 71/2023/ND-CP, the authority to handle disciplinary actions against civil servants who do not hold managerial positions is as follows: “For civil servants who do not hold managerial positions, the head of the public service unit managing the civil servants shall handle disciplinary actions and decide on the form of discipline, except for the case specified in Clause 6, Article 35 of this Decree. In case of handling by the form of forced dismissal, the head of the public service unit shall report to the competent recruitment authority before making a decision, except in cases where the public service unit has the authority to recruit or is delegated the authority to recruit.”

Based on the above regulations, the Department of Education and Training requests the leaders of Vo Nguyen Giap High School, within the scope of assigned tasks and powers, to organize the review and handling of violations by officials in accordance with legal regulations; report the results to the Department of Education and Training for monitoring and direction.
