Completed site clearance for the Eastern bypass project of Buon Ma Thuot

After many years of problems with site clearance, the Ho Chi Minh Road Construction Investment Project, Eastern bypass of Buon Ma Thuot City (Project) has been officially completed.

Dak Lak Province Traffic Construction and Rural Development Project Management Board (Board A) - the investor informed that on October 9, the last household had handed over the site to the Project.

On the afternoon of October 9, the last household at the intersection of the Eastern bypass with National Highway 14 dismantled the structure on the land.

This location is at Km0+00 – Km0+113 (intersection with National Highway 14), passing through Cuor Dang commune. Although only 113 meters long, the site clearance work at this intersection has been prolonged for many years due to problems with compensation and resettlement policies. The delay at this bottleneck has greatly affected the overall progress of the entire Project.

Recently, with the strong direction of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee, the investor, local authorities of Cuor Dang commune and related units have closely coordinated and synchronously deployed many solutions to remove obstacles.
Along with the transparency of compensation and resettlement support policies, and at the same time, mobilizing and persuading people in many forms, through which households have agreed to hand over the land to the Project.
Immediately after receiving the clean site, Board A directed the contractor, supervision consultant and related units to concentrate, mobilize maximum human resources and machinery and equipment to speed up the progress, and complete the entire Project by the end of 2025.

With the site ready, the contractor has gathered machinery and equipment to urgently construct the project.

It is known that the Ho Chi Minh Road Construction Investment Project, the eastern bypass of Buon Ma Thuot City, is over 39 km long, with a total investment of over 1,841 billion VND.

By the end of September 2025, the disbursement rate of the Project's capital had reached more than 80.3%. This is one of two projects in the transport sector selected by Dak Lak province to register to celebrate the 14th National Party Congress.
