Yen Khuong Primary and Secondary Boarding School is one of six inter-level schools deployed in Thanh Hoa according to the Conclusion Notice No. 81-TB/TW of the Politburo on the policy of investing in building schools for border communes.

The project will be renovated, upgraded and expanded in Ban Bon, Yen Khuong commune with a scale of 38 classes, 962 students, and a total investment of 90 billion VND.

To ensure the conditions for the groundbreaking ceremony of the Yen Khuong Primary and Secondary Boarding School project to take place on November 9, 2025, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Hong Phong directly inspected the preparation work.

Through the inspection, he acknowledged and highly appreciated the initiative of the investor and related units. At the same time, he requested the investor to closely coordinate with local authorities, construction units and related units to proactively and actively implement tasks to prepare well for the groundbreaking ceremony.

Local authorities and Party committees focus on promoting the significance of the project, thereby ensuring good conditions for the ceremony to take place successfully, including ensuring security and order, traffic safety, and environmental sanitation...

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee emphasized that this is a project of special importance, contributing to the development of education in border areas, creating better learning conditions for ethnic minority children, so the groundbreaking ceremony needs to be organized solemnly, safely and effectively.

Due to the impact of storm No. 11, some road sections in Yen Khuong commune were eroded. During the working trip, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and members of the delegation conducted a field survey. He requested the Department of Construction to focus on mobilizing machinery and forces to clear the road to ensure traffic safety, serve the travel of the people as well as serve the groundbreaking ceremony of the Yen Khuong Primary and Secondary Boarding School project.

On this occasion, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Hong Phong and the working delegation visited and inspected working conditions at the Medical Station, Commune Police and Yen Khuong Border Guard Station.

Through the actual inspection, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee highly appreciated the efforts of doctors, medical staff, police officers and soldiers in performing their duties; requested the units to continue promoting the spirit of solidarity, overcoming difficulties to successfully complete assigned tasks, especially in medical examination and treatment for the people, ensuring security at the grassroots level, and firmly ensuring border security and sovereignty.
