To promptly share the difficulties with affected households, the Central Association decided to allocate more than 4.8 billion VND for emergency relief work, including cash and P&G water filter powder packages, specifically: Ha Tinh province 560 million VND, 24,000 P&G water filter powder packages; Quang Tri 400 million VND, 24,000 P&G water filter powder packages; Thua Thien Hue 1.095 billion VND, 48,000 P&G water filter powder packages; Da Nang 1.78 billion VND, 72,000 P&G water filter powder packages; Lam Dong 175 million VND and 43,200 P&G water filter powder packages; Quang Ngai 580 million VND, 24,000 P&G water filter powder packages.
Funding comes from the mobilization source through account H2025 of Vietcombank , along with P&G water filter powder package provided by Americares organization as non-refundable aid in the project "Clean drinking water for the community".
Organizations and individuals can continue to support people affected by floods through the Vietnam Red Cross Central account; account number H2025 at the Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (Vietcombank) or contribute directly through VCB Digibank.
Storm No. 13 (Kalmaegi) and its circulation have severely affected the provinces and cities of Hue, Da Nang, Quang Ngai, Gia Lai, Khanh Hoa...; there have been casualties, dozens of houses collapsed, tens of thousands of houses had their roofs blown off, many households had to evacuate to avoid the storm; widespread power outages in many areas./.
