An Giang is stepping up digital transformation to support household businesses.

DNVN - On November 6th, the An Giang Provincial Tax Department officially signed an important cooperation agreement with three major technology companies: MISA Joint Stock Company, VNPT An Giang, and Sapo Technology Joint Stock Company, to promote the digitalization and modernization of tax management.

According to An Giang Newspaper, Deputy Head of An Giang Provincial Tax Department Dam Manh Hung stated that the provincial tax authority is committed to supporting businesses and household businesses in transitioning from a lump-sum tax system to a declaration-based tax system.

The collaboration between tax authorities and technology companies is expected to bring many practical benefits, such as making it easier for businesses to declare and issue invoices; gradually digitizing production and business activities; and helping businesses access current tax policies more quickly, ensuring greater transparency, modernity, and efficiency.

To ensure that business households can proficiently operate on digital platforms, technology units, in coordination with the An Giang Provincial Tax Department and local tax authorities, are implementing a comprehensive set of technical support activities.

Specifically, activities are carried out according to the motto "going door-to-door" to provide on-site technical support. Technology units will coordinate with the Provincial Tax Department and local tax offices to disseminate information and provide in-depth technical guidance; send personnel directly to each business household; organize training sessions and seminars; and provide detailed instructions on the electronic invoice creation process. Simultaneously, technical support and problem-solving channels for businesses in the province are established to ensure that businesses can easily access information and receive timely support.

Notably, technology companies are also implementing many practical support policies and special incentives for small traders and household businesses in An Giang province during this digitalization process. These incentives not only help reduce initial investment costs but also encourage household businesses to switch to the new model, contributing to the modernization of the local tax sector.
