O Lam Commune People's Council passed 9 resolutions at the 3rd Session

On November 7, the People's Council of O Lam commune (An Giang province), term XII, 2021 - 2026, held the 3rd session (special session) to consider and decide on the public investment capital plan and a number of issues under its authority.

At the meeting, delegates discussed and voted to pass 9 resolutions. Of which, there were 6 resolutions on detailed allocation of the medium-term public investment plan for the period 2021 - 2025 and 2025, central and local budget sources to implement 3 national target programs on socio -economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas; sustainable poverty reduction; and new rural construction.

Accordingly, in 2025, the total planned public investment capital to implement the National Target Program on Socio-Economic Development for Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas is nearly VND 8.37 billion; the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction is VND 13.78 billion, allocated to implement 3 projects; the National Target Program on New Rural Construction is VND 724 million.

Delegates passed the Resolution on allocating career capital to implement Project 4, the National Target Program on socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas for the 2021-2025 period, with a total capital of 716 million VND.

At the same time, the Resolution on deciding on the staffing of cadres and civil servants in local government agencies at the commune level; the number of employees receiving salaries from the State budget in public service units of O Lam commune after the reorganization; the Resolution promulgating the operating regulations of the People's Council of O Lam commune, term XII, 2021 - 2026.

In her closing speech, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairwoman of the People's Council of O Lam Commune, Mai Thi The, requested the People's Committee of the Commune to urgently implement the Resolutions, especially the investment capital sources to implement the 3 national target programs. At the same time, she requested the People's Council committees to strengthen inspection and supervision so that the People's Council Resolutions can come into life.
