Vocational training for tourism workers in Lam Dong

From November 7 to 9, Lam Dong Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized a training course to improve reception and housekeeping skills for employees at accommodation facilities, tourist areas and attractions in the province.

The class was attended by nearly 100 workers working in the reception and housekeeping departments of accommodation establishments and tourist attractions across the province.

According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Lam Dong is a locality with rich tourism potential and is aiming to develop high-quality tourism. Therefore, tourism human resources need to be professionally trained in terms of style, attitude and professional skills.

Reception and housekeeping staff contribute to the quality of service and culture of the destination.

The training course aims to update, standardize and improve the professional skills of employees; at the same time, disseminate State regulations on tourism accommodation business activities, behavioral skills in the service environment, aiming to improve the quality of service to tourists.

In addition to the theory part, students also exchange and share practical experiences with experts and experienced lecturers in the tourism field. Thereby, effectively applying them to daily work, contributing to improving the quality of services at the unit and developing tourism human resources in Lam Dong province.
