
Ms. Wiraka Moodhitaporn (right cover), Consul General of Thailand in Ho Chi Minh City; Mr. Eamon John Ginley (left cover), General Director of INSEE Vietnam, presented the first prize to the "Incubator" project of a group of students from Ho Chi Minh City University of Architecture.
After more than 7 months of launching, INSEE Prize 2025 has attracted more than 1,100 students to participate through 19 workshops at many universities nationwide. The final round gathered the 5 best teams, presented and defended their projects before a jury of leading experts, to find the ideas with the highest creativity, applicability and social value.

As a result, the project “Incubator” of the group of students from the University of Architecture, Ho Chi Minh City won the first prize; the project “Village Porch” of the University of Technology, Ho Chi Minh City National University won the second prize; the project “Creative Station” of the Vietnam-Germany University won the third prize. The two projects “Sunshine after the Rain” (Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics ) and “Memory Corner - I Dream” (Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Ho Chi Minh City National University) shared the consolation prize.

This year, the INSEE Prize competition has been renewed by adding a third prize and increasing the total project implementation budget to 200 million VND. In particular, in case the champion project cannot be implemented in practice, the jury will consider transferring this opportunity to the remaining projects in the top 5 - thereby further spreading the spirit of community service.
Over the past 17 years, the INSEE Prize competition has reached more than 23,000 students; thereby inspiring the young generation about social responsibility and sustainable development thinking in the field of architecture and construction in Vietnam.
