Tinh Bien Ward checks order and traffic safety in schools

On November 6, Chau Phu Traffic Police Station (Traffic Police Department, An Giang Provincial Police) coordinated with Tinh Bien Ward Police to inspect students violating traffic safety and their families handing over vehicles to unqualified drivers in schools in the ward.

The working group inspected parking lots in schools and at households around the school.

The working group worked with the principals of Luong The Vinh Secondary School, Nguyen Van Troi Secondary School, Tran Quang Khai Primary and Secondary School, and Xuan To High School; and implemented a number of regulations of the Government and the Prime Minister on strengthening the work of ensuring order and traffic safety for students.

The working group inspected the school’s parking lots and the parking lots of people around the school. Through the inspection, 38 violations were discovered, with the main violations being driving underage and not having a driver’s license as required.

The working group worked with school principals.

The working group requires schools to increase propaganda and strictly control students driving electric bicycles, electric motorbikes, and motorbikes to school to ensure compliance with legal regulations.

At the same time, instruct and require students and their parents to write a commitment to strictly comply with the provisions of the law on road traffic safety, especially not to give vehicles to children who are not old enough or do not have a driver's license as prescribed.
