On the evening of November 6, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Y - Chairman of the People's Committee of Van Thang commune said that the Dong Dien river water was rising and was at risk of flooding into houses in Binh Trung 1 area. In this situation, the locality urgently evacuated 13 households with 21 people in this village to the community house to ensure safety for the people.

Van Thang commune authorities brought people in vulnerable areas to safety.

People were taken to safe storm shelters by authorities.

Thus, up to this point, the locality has evacuated 78 households with 177 people from areas at risk of landslides and flooding to safe shelters. The leader of Van Thang commune also said that up to now, all households in vulnerable areas in the locality have basically evacuated to safe storm shelters.
