Colonel Nguyen Van Hien requested agencies and units to continue to thoroughly grasp and strictly implement the instructions of the Military Region, the Provincial People's Committee and the Military Command of An Giang Province to proactively prevent and combat storms and floods. Maintain strict duty regime, closely monitor weather developments, deploy response plans according to the "four on-site" motto; ensure the safety of barracks, warehouses, stations, workshops, weapons and technical equipment.

Agencies and units coordinate with local Party committees and authorities to review vulnerable areas and prepare evacuation sites; Border Guard forces promptly notify boats and fishermen to proactively avoid and move out of dangerous areas. The Logistics - Technical Department checks the amount of vehicles, equipment and materials reserved to ensure readiness to respond when situations arise.
