The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting has just announced that storm No. 15 has strengthened to level 15 (167-183km/h), gusting to level 17. At 9:00 a.m. on November 6, the center of the storm was at about 13.1 degrees North latitude; 111.8 degrees East longitude. The storm is about 290km East Southeast of Quy Nhon ( Gia Lai ). The storm's speed of movement is slowing down compared to early this morning but is still very fast. The storm is moving at a speed of 20-25km/h, changing direction to the West.
This is an extremely dangerous storm, with very high intensity and very strong in the East Sea. When it makes landfall, the storm may still maintain its strong intensity. The time when the storm is likely to affect and impact the mainland is from this evening to tomorrow night. Due to the influence of the wide storm circulation, it is necessary to be on guard against the risk of thunderstorms, tornadoes and strong gusts of wind both before and during the storm's landfall.
