On November 5, Cam Hiep Commune People's Committee proactively deployed response plans for storm No. 13.

Cam Hiep commune leaders inspected vulnerable areas in the commune.

Accordingly, the commune leaders directly inspected vulnerable areas at risk of landslides and deep flooding; organized on-site forces, ready to support and guide evacuation when there was prolonged heavy rain; regularly broadcast announcements and bulletins on the commune's loudspeaker system warning of storms and floods so that people could proactively take precautions; prepared forces, means and equipment for rescue; coordinated the evacuation of people in dangerous areas, low-lying areas, and landslide risks when requested;

Along with that, organize guards and blockades at underground locations, overflows, deep flooded areas, and fast-flowing water; strictly prohibit vehicles and people from traveling when it is unsafe; prepare medicine, medical supplies, rescue plans, and first aid in natural disaster situations...

The commune coordinated with Khanh Hoa Irrigation Works Exploitation One Member Co., Ltd. to inspect and assess the safety of dams in the area; operate reservoirs in accordance with approved procedures and plans for natural disaster prevention and control to ensure the safety of the works and limit flooding in the downstream areas. Units and departments were assigned to work on duty 24/24 hours.
