
Specifically, Hue city has received support of 250 billion VND from the central budget, including 150 billion VND in emergency support according to Decision No. 2400/QD-TTg dated October 29, 2025 and 100 billion VND in additional support according to Decision No. 2438/QD-TTg dated November 1, 2025.
The support source through the Vietnam Fatherland Front system is more than 75 billion VND; of which over 55 billion VND is from organizations and individuals sent through the Hue City Fatherland Front account and 20 billion VND is from the Central Relief Mobilization Committee. In addition, Dak Lak and Khanh Hoa provinces also support 4 billion VND for Hue City.
The recent consecutive heavy rains and floods have caused great damage in Hue city. In the context of limited budget, the city has mobilized maximum local resources, and at the same time proposed the Government and central ministries and branches to continue to pay attention and support. In the immediate future, the city has requested the central government to provide 130 tons of rice seeds to restore production and 800 billion VND in funding to repair and handle damage to infrastructure, facilities, crops and people's lives.
The city proposed the Central Government to support 650 billion VND to implement urgent relocation projects for households in areas at high risk of landslides; at the same time, it proposed to invest in a breakwater north of Chan May port (phase 3) with a budget of 900 billion VND, support the construction of a system of large flood drainage channels from the West to the lagoon area and dikes, coastal protection embankments with a total budget of about 3,000 billion VND... In addition, the locality hopes to invest about 75.6 billion VND to strengthen the management, protection and restoration of upstream forests and protective forests.
