Da Nang lets students stay home on the afternoon of November 6 to proactively respond to storm No. 13

On the afternoon of November 5, Ms. Le Thi Bich Thuan, Director of the Department of Education and Training of Da Nang City, signed a document announcing that students in the entire city would be off school to respond to storm No. 13.

Accordingly, all preschool children, students and trainees in Da Nang city will have a day off on the afternoon of November 6.

Vocational training institutions, universities and private colleges proactively decide on student attendance based on actual situations.

The Department of Education and Training requires units and schools to seriously implement plans to prevent storms and floods; ensure safety for teachers, workers, students and property.

Daycare facilities should notify their suppliers to avoid food waste. Boarding facilities should ensure safe management of students if they cannot return home.

Units need to closely monitor storm developments, thoroughly implement the "four on-site" motto and have appropriate teaching methods when students cannot go to school due to floods and landslides.

After the storm, schools focused on repairing damage, cleaning classrooms, preventing epidemics, and visiting and supporting families of teachers and students facing difficulties caused by floods.
