Thot Not ward Youth Union established 3 youth volunteer teams to protect the environment, with 60 members. The youth participated in handling environmental "black spots"; clearing bushes; planting trees and flowers in the premises of agencies, units, and schools; collecting plastic waste, pesticide packaging, etc.

In addition, the Ward Youth Union often organizes activities such as "Volunteer Saturday" and "Green Sunday" in the areas. Ms. Tran Thi Mong Thu, Secretary of the Youth Union of Thoi Binh 2 area, said: "When the Party Cell and the People's Committee of the area organize environmental sanitation activities, the Youth Union actively participates. In addition, the Youth Union propagates and mobilizes the Youth Union and people to preserve the green - clean - beautiful environment and classify waste at the source."

Since the beginning of 2025, the Thot Not Ward Youth Union has carried out many projects and youth tasks to build a civilized urban area. In particular, the Ward Youth Union launched the project "National Flag Route" in the areas of Thoi Hoa 1, Thoi Hoa 2, Thoi Thanh 1 and Thoi Thanh 2. At the same time, it has built a digital literacy model and established a youth volunteer team to support people in performing online public services. The Ward Youth Union has coordinated with local sectors and organizations to launch, parade, and distribute leaflets to propagate environmental protection; participated in planting trees "Forever grateful to Uncle Ho" on the roads; built a model "Bright - green - clean - beautiful route"...

According to Ms. Pham Tuong Duyen, Secretary of the Ward Youth Union, local youth promote the construction and improvement of the quality of activities of volunteer youth teams participating in environmental protection; maintaining traffic order and safety, urban order; preventing, combating and overcoming the consequences of natural disasters; implementing social security... At the same time, the Ward Youth Union coordinates with units to effectively deploy the model "Traffic safety school gate" in secondary and primary schools; well organize youth shock troops to participate in preventing and combating crimes and social evils, join military and police forces in patrolling and guarding residential areas.

In the period of 2022-2025, Thot Not Ward Youth Union will carry out over 95 youth projects and tasks, with the total benefit value of the projects and tasks being over 1 billion VND. The Ward Youth Union will build and consolidate many skillful mass mobilization models, such as: "Lighting up the countryside roads", "Friendly trash cans", "Bright - green - clean - beautiful roads and alleys". The Ward Youth Union will focus on contents and solutions to contribute to building civilized urban areas in peak volunteer activities during Youth Month, Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign; activities to celebrate days, anniversaries and party congresses at all levels...

In the coming time, the Ward Youth Union will continue to innovate the method of organizing volunteer activities, such as: organizing regular volunteer activities, on-site, online, volunteering by target groups; improving the quality of programs and youth movements; actively participating in environmental protection, responding to climate change; ensuring social security; ensuring traffic order and safety, overcoming the consequences of natural disasters...

Ms. Pham Tuong Duyen informed: "The ward Youth Union focuses on linking volunteer activities with the implementation of civilized urban ward criteria; at the same time, promoting the role of Youth Union officials and youth union members participating in volunteer activities in digital transformation, developing the digital economy and digital society".
