Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi inspected the project of Da Lat Milk Joint Stock Company.

On the afternoon of October 29, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi led a working delegation of the Provincial People's Committee to inspect and survey the project of Da Lat Milk Joint Stock Company in Don Duong commune.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Lam Dong province Ho Van Muoi led the working delegation of the Provincial People's Committee to work with Da Lat Milk Joint Stock Company.

Attending the working delegation were Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Ngoc Phuc; leaders of departments, branches and localities.

Dalat Milk Joint Stock Company is organizing dairy cow farming, purchasing raw fresh milk, processing and consuming milk, creating a closed chain from production to consumption.

The company currently has a dairy farm with a total herd of nearly 7,000 cows, of which the total milking herd is more than 3,200 cows. Milk output is about 46 tons/day.

Company representative reports on the progress of the project to invest in expanding the high-tech dairy farm.

Recently, Da Lat Milk Joint Stock Company has been implementing an investment project to expand a high-tech dairy farm and build a milk processing factory in Don Duong commune.

When completed, the two milk processing plants will have a total capacity of more than 240 tons/day with processed dairy products such as yogurt, pasteurized fresh milk, sterilized fresh milk and sterilized drinking yogurt.

Company representative reported some difficulties and problems in the operation process.

At the meeting, the company representative said that currently the raw milk source only meets a part of the factory's production capacity. One of the reasons is that the food source is not guaranteed.

Recognizing and appreciating the production scale and operating network of Da Lat Milk Joint Stock Company, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi requested that Departments, branches and localities continue to pay attention, create favorable conditions in terms of mechanisms and policies, and provide maximum support for businesses, especially expanding grass growing areas and building a chain of links to purchase milk for people.
