The 1st Congress of Tuy Hoa Ward Trade Union, term 2025

Attending the congress were Permanent Vice President of the Provincial Labor Federation (PPF) Nguyen Ngoc Huyen, leaders of Tuy Hoa ward, invited delegates and 120 official delegates.

According to Decision No. 92/QD-LĐLĐ dated September 17, 2025 of the Provincial Federation of Labor, Tuy Hoa Ward Union was established, directly monitoring and urging 106 grassroots unions and grassroots trade unions with 10,298 union members/11,079 workers; of which, female workers account for 47.8%, 1,758 union members are party members.

The ward union has focused on innovating the content and methods of operation, focusing on the grassroots, and taking care of union members' rights. Workers' lives have improved; average income has increased by 10-15% compared to the previous year; social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance regimes have been seriously implemented.

Labor safety and hygiene work is focused on. Emulation movements are widely deployed, typically "Good worker - Creative worker", "Green - clean - beautiful, ensuring labor safety", "Good at public work, good at housework".

The whole ward had 36 technical innovation initiatives, 87 groups and individuals were awarded. Welfare activities for union members were effectively implemented, supporting union members and workers in difficult circumstances during holidays and Tet.

The Congress discussed and approved the resolution for the 2025 - 2030 term, setting out 11 targets, 2 breakthroughs and 8 key tasks and solutions, focusing on developing union members, innovating the content of activities, improving the effectiveness of emulation movements and digital transformation in union activities.

Some of the main targets include: Every year, 90% or more of union members and workers are informed and learn about resolutions, policies and laws; 100% of labor disputes have union participation or support; at least 85% of enterprises with grassroots unions have signed collective labor agreements; strive for 100% of non-state enterprises with 20 or more employees to establish a union organization...

Leaders of the Provincial Labor Federation presented support symbols to build 02 "Union Shelters" for union members in difficult circumstances in the ward.

The Congress announced the decision of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and leadership positions for the new term, including 9 people. Mr. Nguyen Minh Chinh, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tuy Hoa Ward, was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the Tuy Hoa Ward Labor Union for the 2025-2030 term.

The new Executive Committee was introduced to the congress.

On this occasion, the Provincial Labor Federation presented a symbol of financial support to build 02 "Union Shelters" for union members in difficult circumstances of Tuy Hoa ward.
