Ministry of National Defense inspects the results of the National Target Program at Coffee Company 15

On the morning of October 29, the working delegation of the Steering Committee for National Target Programs of the Ministry of National Defense, led by Colonel Nguyen Van Hiep, Deputy Head of the Department of Economic Affairs (Department of Finance), inspected and supervised the implementation results of the National Target Program (NTP) on socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas (DTTS&MN) in 2024 and 2025 at Coffee 15 Company Limited (Coffee 15 Company).

Reporting to the working delegation, the Party Committee - Board of Directors of the Company said that in recent years, the projects under the National Target Program deployed by Coffee Company 15 have been seriously implemented, closely following the goal of sustainable poverty reduction and socio -economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas.

Colonel Nguyen Van Hiep and his delegation had a working session at Coffee Company 15.

In 2024 and 2025, the Company will implement two models of breeding cows and goats, with a total capital mobilization of more than 11.2 billion VND, of which the State budget accounts for more than 9 billion VND. The models have supported 403 households in Dak Lak and Lam Dong provinces, of which more than 82% are ethnic minority households. The Company has coordinated with local authorities to survey and select beneficiaries, inspect barns, and organize 16 training courses on livestock farming techniques with nearly 500 participants.

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Ba Trung, Deputy Head of the Barracks Department, Logistics and Engineering Department (Military Region 5) spoke at the program.

In addition, the Company organized 3 ethnic knowledge training courses, attracting 120 officers and soldiers to participate; implemented a sub-project to propagate and mobilize people in ethnic minority and mountainous areas associated with national defense and security tasks with 4,000 publications and propaganda leaflets...

Lieutenant Colonel Le Trung Thanh, Director of Coffee Company 15, shared his opinion at the program.

After listening to the report and inspecting the situation, Colonel Nguyen Van Hiep praised the proactive and creative spirit of the staff and employees of Coffee Company 15 in implementing national target programs associated with national defense and security tasks.

Colonel Nguyen Van Hiep emphasized: "The company needs to continue to promote the core role of military enterprises in strategic areas; replicate effective models, overcome difficulties in human resources and technology; gradually improve the material and spiritual life of the people, contributing to building a strong defense zone from the grassroots."

On this occasion, the Ministry of National Defense delegation presented 5 gifts to families in difficult circumstances in the area.
