Hội thảo xuất khẩu nông sản qua thương mại điện tử cùng Amazon

Ngày 29/10, tại Khách sạn Mường Thanh Luxury Buôn Ma Thuột (phường Tân An), Vụ Phát triển thị trường trong nước (Bộ Công Thương) phối hợp với Sở Công Thương tỉnh Đắk Lắk, Công ty Amazon Global Selling Việt Nam (Amazon Global Selling) tổ chức Hội thảo chuyên đề “Từ Việt Nam đến toàn cầu - Hành trình xuất khẩu nông sản Việt qua thương mại điện tử cùng Amazon”.

This event is part of trade promotion activities, supporting online export enterprises, aiming to promote Vietnamese agricultural products to reach international markets through cross-border e-commerce channels.

Attending the workshop were representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade , the Department of Industry and Trade of Dak Lak province, industry associations, agricultural production and export enterprises of the province, and experts from Amazon Global Selling.

The workshop provided a comprehensive view of the trend of e-commerce globalization, as well as online export opportunities for Vietnamese agricultural products. Delegates attending the workshop focused on discussing: The potential and development trends of cross-border e-commerce in the field of agricultural products and processed foods; policies and support orientations of the Government and the Ministry of Industry and Trade to promote businesses to participate more deeply in the global value chain through online export; solutions, tools and support services of Amazon Global Selling to help Vietnamese businesses build brands, expand markets, and directly reach global consumers.

With the desire to accompany businesses, especially in the field of agricultural products and processed foods to expand business scale, enhance brand and develop sustainably in the global market through e-commerce, Amazon Global Selling representatives also introduced, directly supported businesses to connect, and consulted on strategies to bring products to international e-commerce platforms.

Speaking at the workshop, Mr. Nguyen Hai Trieu, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade, said: In the context of digital transformation and strong development of global e-commerce, the application of cross-border e-commerce platforms is a breakthrough solution to help Vietnamese enterprises bring products directly to global consumers, reduce intermediaries and increase competitiveness. The workshop is a very meaningful opportunity for enterprises, cooperatives, and agricultural production facilities in Dak Lak province to access and share experiences in building brands, quality standards, operating methods and sustainable development on digital platforms.

In recent years, with the attention and direction of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the People's Committee of Dak Lak province, the Industry and Trade sector has made efforts to promote trade promotion activities and support businesses to expand export markets. The unit will continue to accompany businesses, cooperatives, and farmers to implement many training, consulting, and e-commerce promotion programs, supporting the province's typical products to access international markets through modern e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, Alibaba, Shopee Global, etc.
