Ram 1500 The Dude and Charger Sixpack concept at SEMA

Mopar brought two standout concepts to SEMA 2025: the Hemi-powered Ram 1500 The Dude with a retro C-stripe; and the 2026 Dodge Charger Sixpack painted Stryker Purple, with a 550-horsepower twin-turbo I6, a 1-inch drop, and 21-inch wheels.

At SEMA 2025, Mopar introduced two concepts that clearly positioned the philosophy of personalization with genuine parts: Ram 1500 The Dude, a tribute to the sport-trim Dodge pickup truck of the 1970s, and the gasoline-powered 2026 Dodge Charger Sixpack with a performance upgrade package. Both focused on iconic design, aerodynamic details, and upgrades directly from Mopar, aimed at users who love to tweak their cars but still want the consistency of the manufacturer.

Ram 1500 The Dude: 1970s sport-truck spirit returns

The Dude is based on a Ram 1500 Big Horn, powered by a Hemi engine, as confirmed by Stellantis. The concept doesn’t go for record-breaking power, but emphasizes classic sport-truck styling: a low stance, side exhausts, 22-inch wheels finished in satin black, and decals inspired by the signature C-stripe on the Dodge D‑100 “Dude Sport Trim” of the 1970 model year.

The exterior is striking in Sublime Green. The hood has black air intakes, accompanied by black side panels; the side mirrors, grille and roof are all in the same color to create a seamless look. The nostalgic mark is shown through the “Dude” logo on the side of the truck and the contrasting C-stripe, recreating the spirit of the original introduced in 1969 for the 1970 model year.

Inside, The Dude features black leather seats with accent green stitching. The “Dude” logo is prominently displayed on the dashboard, while a built-in safe in the center console keeps valuables discreetly hidden. These touches give the car a “factory-tuned” feel: just the right amount of personalization, but still clean, consistent, and ready to go.

Upgraded center of gravity on the Ram 1500 The Dude

  • Low profile, side exhaust create classic sport-truck look.
  • 22-inch satin black wheels, combined with Sublime Green paint and contrasting C-stripe.
  • “Dude” logo and blacked-out details on hood, mirrors, grille, roof.

2026 Charger Sixpack: 550-hp twin‑turbo I6 gasoline version

In a reversal of the electrification trend, the Charger concept, dubbed the Sixpack, emphasizes its gasoline engine configuration. The name “Sixpack” now no longer refers to the historical triple twin-throttle carburetor, but is a play on words for the inline six-cylinder engine. Specifically, the car uses a 3.0-liter twin-turbo engine with 550 horsepower, combined with a Mopar cold air filter and a two-pipe stainless steel cat-back exhaust system.

The exterior package features Stryker Purple, a bold contrast to The Dude’s blue hues. The hood, front splitter, and rear spoiler are all carbon fiber with a matte finish; strobe graphics run the length of the body. Mopar springs lower the car an inch, and fender vents optimize airflow from the wheel wells.

The brakes are upgraded to match the performance. 21-inch, 11-inch-wide Brass Monkey five-spoke wheels fill the wheel wells and show off orange Brembo calipers at the rear. Inside, the backlighting can match the paint; Katzkin leather seats in black and brown are accented with orange and purple stitching. Mopar adds matching pedal covers, floor mats, and cargo mat.

SEMA 2025: the stage of official and private builds

In addition to the two new concepts, the Mopar booth also featured a race-winning 1987 Dodge D150 with a Hurricane I6 engine built and driven by Morgan Evans, as well as a few Jeep concepts that made their first public appearance since the Easter Jeep Safari in Moab. This year, however, the focus was on showcasing how Mopar packaged its factory upgrades, both cosmetically and mechanically.

Product and market perspective

Both the Ram 1500 The Dude and Charger Sixpack are currently concept vehicles for display purposes. The automaker has not yet announced plans for commercialization or detailed technical specifications. However, the level of completion of each upgrade category suggests the development of genuine parts for the two main Stellantis models when users are looking for a quality-assured tuning solution.

For The Dude, if included in the accessories list, the big touches would be the retro decals, 22-inch wheels, and matching blacked-out details. For the Sixpack, the focus is on the performance package for the twin-turbo I6 engine, a 1-inch suspension drop, and a set of big-profile wheels and brakes. These are two different approaches, but they share the same philosophy: to enhance the personality and experience without disrupting the overall cohesiveness.

When laws and markets permit, concepts often serve as a precursor to future OEM parts. At SEMA 2025, two new Mopar concepts show that the company is ready to cater to both the heritage-minded (The Dude) and the modern performance-oriented (Sixpack) crowd.
