The kitchen is located in the boarding kitchen area of Truong An Primary School, Hue City. At peak times, more than 100 people (teachers from the school and local residents) participated and helped cook and pack food in the kitchen. On October 29, the kitchen provided more than 3,000 meals. Dishes are cooked continuously from morning to night, the fire on the stove seems never to stop.
Food is donated by the people themselves or sent by generous donors. The kitchen does not accept money, only food and necessities. Many local young people actively participate in supporting the kitchen. Once cooked, the dishes will be gathered and packaged. Packing the meals is done very quickly.
Volunteers work in a packing line, each person taking the initiative in a job. Volunteers work in a packing line, each person taking the initiative in a job. Close-up of a full meal: Vegetables, fish and meat.
Donors continue to send necessities to keep the kitchen "on fire".
