Promoting the intelligence of the legal team in completing the documents of the 14th National Party Congress

On October 29, in Hanoi, the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front, Central organizations, the Central Party Committee of the Vietnam Lawyers Association coordinated with relevant units to organize a conference to collect comments on draft documents to be submitted to the 14th National Party Congress.

The conference took place under the direction of comrades: Nguyen Thai Hoc, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front, Central organizations; Nguyen Khanh Ngoc, Party Committee Secretary, President of the Vietnam Lawyers Association; Dao Ngoc Chuyen, Vice President of the Vietnam Bar Federation .

In his opening speech, comrade Dao Ngoc Chuyen stated: The 14th National Party Congress is an important political event for the entire Party, the entire army, and the entire people, and has special significance in the country's development process. The draft documents submitted to the Congress are the crystallization of the Party's wisdom, mettle, and strategic vision, demonstrating the Vietnamese people's aspiration to rise up for " peace , independence, democracy, wealth, prosperity, civilization, and happiness".

At the conference, delegates focused on discussing and giving opinions on the drafts: Political report of the 13th Party Central Committee at the 14th Party Congress; Action program of the Party Central Committee to implement the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress; Summary report on a number of theoretical and practical issues on the socialist-oriented renovation process over the past 40 years in Vietnam; Summary report on 15 years of implementing the Party Charter (2011-2025) and proposals and directions for supplementing and amending the Party Charter.

Many delegates presented arguments with specific evidence, showing careful and dedicated research, with in-depth practical value, bearing the unique mark of the legal field.

“For the Vietnamese team of jurists and lawyers, this is not only a political responsibility but also an opportunity for us to promote our intelligence, courage and practical experience in the legal field, contributing valuable opinions on building a socialist rule-of-law state, judicial reform, perfecting the legal system and strengthening socialist legality,” Comrade Nguyen Thai Hoc emphasized.

According to the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front and Central organizations, giving opinions on the Congress documents needs to be considered from a comprehensive perspective associated with the position and role of lawyers and jurists, not only in their professional fields but also as members of the Fatherland Front and Central organizations.
