In the past 3 school years, the Provincial Ethnic Minority High School has established clubs for Mong flute, music, taekwondo, broadcasting, media... to create a playground for students to practice, develop and express themselves. Vu A Hoang, captain of the Mong flute club, said: The club has 66 members. Every day, after the afternoon class, we focus on practicing flute lessons. Joining the club helps me feel happy, relieve stress after each class and study better.

Ms. Hoang Thi Ngoc, Secretary of the Youth Union of the Provincial Ethnic Minority High School, said: Currently, Taekwondo and Sao Mong are two clubs that the school invites artists and coaches to teach and practice for students. The remaining clubs are assigned teachers by the school to be in charge, guide, ensure effective activities, and attract students to participate. Organizing clubs according to students' interests is one of the forms of creative experiential activities, training teamwork skills for students to explore themselves and develop their talents. Thereby, the school selects outstanding students from each grade to participate in competitions and competitions organized by the industry.

At Tay Bac University, a student volunteer club has been established, giving students the opportunity to practice and develop themselves. In particular, last August, student Lo Van Truong and club members participated twice in supporting people in Chieng So and Song Ma communes to overcome the consequences of floods. Truong said: Before, I was quite shy and lacked confidence in front of crowds. Thanks to participating in the student volunteer club, I have been able to practice my "soft" skills, enrich my life experience, and become more confident. Besides, when participating in volunteering, I can contribute my youth and share with the community, I feel happy because I contribute a small part of myself to help society.

Accompanying young people in their studies, every year, the Provincial Youth Union has directed school unions to advise school principals to establish student clubs. In the past 9 months, schools have established 8 new clubs in various fields, with 650 members, bringing the total number of clubs in the province to 114 academic and gifted clubs in schools, with more than 6,000 members, in the fields of culture, arts, sports , martial arts, traditional musical instruments, communications...

For the clubs to operate effectively, the heads of the committees and groups of the clubs are selected as talented and qualified students to directly manage and organize activities. Under the guidance and supervision of the School Youth Union, the clubs develop plans, programs, and specific activity schedules; organize club activities with creative content, diverse activities, actively innovate, focus on the harmony between the rights and obligations of members, and attract enthusiastic members to participate. In addition to using media such as social networks to connect and gather members, currently, the clubs also set up Fanpages on Facebook to build and promote the image and information of the club's activities.

To promote the development of clubs, teams of talents and interests, every year, the Departments of Education and Training, Culture - Sports and Tourism, Provincial Youth Union, and Provincial Youth Activity Center have organized many cultural, artistic, and sports competitions and festivals attracting clubs, teams, and groups of units inside and outside schools to participate.

Thereby, selecting clubs, teams, and groups with outstanding talents and interests, creating resources to participate in competitions, programs, and activities organized by the Central Youth Union.

Building clubs in schools has created positive effects in promoting abilities, connecting students with common passions and interests; supporting and sharing experiences, helping students practice confidence, dynamism, improving teamwork skills, collective activities and strengthening solidarity. At the same time, clubs are also effective channels of information and propaganda for emulation movements launched by all levels and sectors to students, contributing to improving the quality of education in the province.
