Da Nang City Armed Forces marched through the night to rescue people in flooded areas.

DNO - Receiving urgent orders from the City Military Command, Da Nang armed forces marched through the night of October 29, urgently maneuvering into the deeply flooded area in Xuan Diem Quarter (Dien Ban Bac Ward) to urgently rescue isolated people.

Floodwaters from upstream rushed in, reaching the roofs of houses, making it difficult to reach individual households. By 4am, rescue teams had reached the isolated areas, moving the elderly, women and children out of the danger zone.

Colonel Tran Quang Chanh, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the City Military Command, is on duty at the scene, directing rescue teams to closely coordinate with local authorities and grassroots militia. Canoes ST-750 and 2 ambulances take turns transporting people and relief goods including dry food, drinking water, and life jackets to support people while waiting for the water to recede. The city's armed forces are determined to reach the entire isolated area this morning, October 30, ensuring absolute safety for the people.
