Attending the workshop were Ms. Hoang Thi Dinh, Deputy Director of the Department of Preschool Education, and 130 delegates representing leaders of Departments of Education and Training and pedagogical colleges nationwide.

In her opening speech at the workshop, Ms. Hoang Thi Dinh emphasized: Preparing children for first grade is the core task of preschool education, helping to ensure a smooth and effective transition between the two levels of education, creating a solid foundation for children's long-term learning process. Organizing the workshop is a practical activity, creating a forum for localities to share experiences, exchange and propose solutions to improve the quality of preschool education, best preparing children for first grade - an important stage in the development journey of each student.

At the workshop, representatives of the Department of Education and Training visited and discussed 2 experiential activities of teachers and students of the Leaf class at Anh Duong Kindergarten; discussed in depth some contents such as strengthening coordination between school and family, fostering teachers' capacity, building a friendly learning environment, helping children to be confident, develop comprehensively physically, and be ready to enter primary school.

From there, it contributes to orienting specific solutions to improve the quality of preparation for children entering first grade, meeting the requirements of fundamental and comprehensive innovation in education and training today.
