Road to Olympia 2025 Champion Tran Bui Bao Khanh: Dream of wearing the laurel wreath since primary school

On October 26, 2025, the final match of the 25th Road to Olympia took place with four live television broadcast locations in Hanoi , Hue, Khanh Hoa and Dong Thap. After four intense rounds, the final victory was given to Tran Bui Bao Khanh - a student of Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, with a total score of 215.

The moment Khanh won the laurel wreath amid the cheers of thousands of spectators at Thang Long Imperial Citadel closed the special competition season - the 25-year milestone of the "conquering knowledge" journey of the Road to Olympia program.

In a conversation after being crowned, Bao Khanh shared that her dream of wearing the laurel wreath had been formed since her elementary school years. “Ever since watching the first Olympia episodes with my family, I dreamed of one day standing on that stage. Today, that dream has come true,” Khanh said emotionally.


The Hanoi student impressed with his calm demeanor, logical thinking ability and confidence in each round. Without showing too much emotion but always keeping calm under pressure, Bao Khanh gradually broke through the Warm-up, Overcoming Obstacles, Acceleration and Finishing rounds to reach the glory.

A breathtaking battle of wits

This year's four contestants - Le Quang Duy Khoa (Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted, Hue), Nguyen Nhat Lam (Cai Be High School, Dong Thap ), Doan Thanh Tung (Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted, Khanh Hoa) and Tran Bui Bao Khanh (Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted) - are considered outstanding faces, representing the bravery and intelligence of Vietnamese students.

The Kick-off round saw a strong performance from all four, with Bao Khanh temporarily leading with 65 points. In the Obstacle Round, the keyword “Truong Ba’s Soul, Butcher’s Skin” made the audience burst into tears when Thanh Tung rang the bell after just one suggested image, temporarily taking the lead with 100 points.

The Acceleration Round was a spectacular chase, as Thanh Tung continued to maintain his form with 210 points, while Bao Khanh carefully accumulated points, preparing for the decisive Finishing Round. In the final round, the Hanoi boy's mettle was clearly demonstrated when he answered all three difficult questions correctly, taking the lead and winning convincingly.

Not only at the studio, the cheering atmosphere spread strongly at all four locations: Huong River Theater (Hue), Lac Hong Park (Dong Thap), April 2 Square ( Khanh Hoa ) and Thang Long Imperial Citadel (Hanoi).

MC Duc Bao shared: “Everyone’s spirit is still high. Everyone wants to bring the most beautiful, lively and emotional image.” In Khanh Hoa, MC Cong To emotionally said: “I feel the youthful energy and special affection of the audience here. Every cheer, every smile is a great source of encouragement for the contestants.”

The Road to Olympia is not only a knowledge competition, but has become a cultural symbol - a place to inspire the spirit of learning and the desire to conquer in millions of Vietnamese students. After 25 years of broadcasting, the program still maintains its appeal, becoming a launching pad for many young talents to shine domestically and internationally.

This year, the second prize went to Doan Thanh Tung (210 points), and the two third prizes were awarded to Le Quang Duy Khoa and Nguyen Nhut Lam. All of them ended the 2025 Olympia season with emotion, continuing the tradition of honoring Vietnamese knowledge, will and bravery.

With the prestigious laurel wreath, Tran Bui Bao Khanh not only brought pride to Hanoi - Amsterdam School, but also affirmed a simple truth: success always starts with dreams and perseverance.
